New Students

For all new students, we require an initial 1/2-hour private lesson, which gives an instructor a chance to advise a student and gives the rider an opportunity to become acquainted with our equestrian program. Each student will then be placed into an appropriate group or private lesson. Riders in our group lessons are placed according to ability and knowledge. Call 410-721-0885 to schedule your first lesson.

Hello Horses!

We recommend that all new students and parents take a Hello Horses! lesson. This monthly lesson teaches a new rider and parent basic horse care, safety, grooming, tacking, and cooling out. Call for the next Hello Horses! lesson.

Hello Horses! $40/family

Required Apparel For All Riding Lessons

For your safety, approved riding helmets and hard-soled shoes with a heel must be worn for all riding lessons.

Riding pants or long slacks and tall boots or chaps are recommended for your comfort.

Preparation of School Horses

Notify your instructor for arrangements; our horses can be tacked and ready prior to each lesson (except for the bridle). With instructor approval, you may groom and tack your horse prior to your lesson and/or use your own saddle.

Semester Cancellation Policy

Lessons must be made up within the same semester; those lessons not made up will be lost. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of lesson or practice ride time. Makeup lessons will be scheduled only when the proper 24-hour notice was given.
