All About Horses Club Every Friday from 7pm-8pm we offer free lectures to children of all ages. These lectures are extremely educational and fun for everyone! Some of our past topics include general information on horse health, the history of the horse and different types of breeds, different types of riding, how to load a horse onto a trailer, how to design a jumping course, how to braid a mane, and lessons on horse care and grooming. Horseback Rider — Complete seven out of the eleven activities required by the Junior Girl Scouts. Your instructor will sign you off as you complete your activities. Horse Lover — Your Scout Leader will accompany your Troop while you complete your required six activities. Program includes lecture and a short time in the saddle (group of 3 or more). |
