Equilibrium Horse Center invites your children to our School Break Horse Camps — a delightful
time spent with horses and 80+ acres of open spaces. Your children will adventure into the
wonderful world of horses, guided by knowledgeable counselors and
in the company of great friends: other horse-loving kids ages 6 to 16.
Equilibrium's school break camps offer intensive, hands-on instruction in horsemanship and the science of equine management to riders of all levels.
Our FacilityThe equestrian facility at Equilibrium Horse Center includes a large indoor riding hall, stables for over 50 horses and ponies, outdoor riding arena, wooded trails, fields, and lecture hall.Camp StaffThe program is directed by certified, knowledgeable staff along with the great support of additional grooms, instructors, and animal care specialists.EquipmentAll campers will need a riding helmet with a harness or a safety-approved sports helmet. Children will also need hard-soled, enclosed shoes with a heel. Campers will be most comfortable in suitable riding pants (breeches, jodphurs, sweat pants, or loose-fitting long pants). During cold weather, children should come dressed in layers (including an extra pair of socks), and should bring outdoor winter clothes (gloves, hat, scarf).Other Special ItemsOther items campers should bring daily are a small notebook, pencil, and sunscreen. Campers should also bring a bag lunch and mid-morning or afternoon snacks. Water and hot and cold drinks will be provided.
School Break Camp Costs and HoursEquilibrium’s day camps are available for all school breaks during the school year. The rate is $100/day, and payment is required on the day of the session. Sessions are available for all school breaks. If your child’s school closing isn’t listed on our registration form, simply fill in the date(s) and we will accommodate your schedule. Camp hours are 8-4 pm; before and after care is available at no additional charge. |
